Frequently Asked Questions about the Dance-a-thon
Q: What time does the dance start/end?
A: The dance on February 12th is from 8:00pm to 8:00 am. Students who do not wish to stay the entire night can leave at 11:00 pm. If you stay past 11pm, we would like you to make a commitment to stay the entire night. You must have a permission slip signed by a parent/guardian to stay the entire night. Students will be “re-admitted” to the dance at 11pm and their names will be checked against a list of submitted permission slips.
Q: What happens if we decide to leave after 11 pm?
A: We really are encouraging you to make the commitment to stay the night. If you have to leave after 11:00 and you drove, you will only be allowed to drive yourself home. You will have to sign out and a call will be made to your parent/guardian to inform them that you have left the dance. All other students will be allowed to leave only with a parent/guardian who signs them out.
Q: Will there be food and beverage?
A: Yes, there will be food, and it will be free
Q: Can I bring a sleeping bag?
A: Yes, but we cannot be responsible for it.
Q: How much is it?
A: Ten dollars to get you in all night. If you get $10 dollars or more in pledges, you get in free
Q: Will there be live music?
A: There will be bands during the dance.
Q: How do I get a pledge form/permission slip?
A: Pledge forms/permission slips are available in the café, Main office and in the Assistant Principals’ office.
